Bob
Krouskoff
attended Brown University and the New
York-Phoenix School of Design with additional study at the School of
Visual Arts, the National Academy School of Design and the
Westchester Art Workshop. He has executed portraits of such
luminaries as Carl Sagan, John Houseman and Agnes DeMille.
Bob
currently paints portraits, landscapes, and still lifes and is
represented by the Fine Arts Gallery in Bronxville, NY. He was
awarded the Frank C. Wright portrait prize at the 1996 Hudson Valley
Art Association annual show,

is
the winner of numerous awards at the Rowayton Arts Center and the
Art Society of Old Greenwich and first prize at the Women's Club
Westchester-wide Beaux Arts Exhibition last year. He regularly
teaches portraiture at the Darien Arts Center.
Bob
takes delight in capturing the play of light across a subject's
face. This along with his spontaneous painting style results
in an informal portrait admired for its freshness and color.
